Girl group SISTAR won the ‘Teen Style Icon’ awards at the ’2013 Style Icon Awards’ ceremony.
SISTAR’s Hyorin said, “Thank you for this glorious award. We’ll try harder to show you a hard-working SISTAR.” Soyou said, “We’re so happy to be receiving such a big award, but it’s even more extraordinary because it’s our 2nd time winning this award.”
SISTAR also took the stage for a congratulatory performance with pianist Yoon Han. They performed “Give It to Me” powerfully with their amazing vocals.
SISTAR has been active with their latest 2nd album Give It to Me.
‘Style Icon Awards’ is a unique awards ceremony in Korea that promotes a new paradigm and style through broadcast, culture, and arts. It highlights figures that have influenced the public’s lifestyles.
The winner is chosen through online votes (30%), research preference (40%), and SIA judge scores (30%).
’2013 Style Icon Awards’ Ceremony was held at the CJ E&M Center in Sangamdong, Seoul on October 24th. It was broadcast on OnStyle, tvN, Mnet, XTM, Olive, and StoryOn. It was also broadcast live in 11 countries such as America and Australia through global channel Channel M and Mnet America.
