130207 Sistar 19 top the U.S. Billboard K-pop Chart

They topped the chart for the first week of February with their new song, “Here Then Gone,” beating Bae Chi Gi’s “Tear Shower” and CN Blue’s “I’m Sorry.”

Sistar 19 topped the domestic charts with the song in only two hours after the song was released and have topped the charts for a week.

Starship Entertainment, Sistar 19′s agency, reported, “Sistar 19 haven’t released a new song for a long time after they released ‘Ma Boy,’ but many people are loving their new song. We really appreciate. Because a lot of singers are releasing new material often to receive more attention, it’s just very surprising to us.”

Sistar 19 topped such major charts as Melon, Bugs, Cyworld, and Soribada with the song, which was released on January 31. Sistar’s new song made a big hit last year, and Sistar 19′s new song made a big hit this year.

Sistar 19, formed by Sistar’s Bora and Hyo Rin, received a lot of attention when “Ma Boy” made a big hit in 2011. The group shows off an innocent yet sexy image that symbolizes 19-year-old girls.

Bora and Hyo Rin show off a powerful, sexy dance for the song. The choreography for the song uses chairs. Because the chairs are transparent, they’re not visible on stage.

“Here Then Gone” is a sad hip-hop number about love that blooms and falls like flowers. It describes feelings of a girl who becomes a real woman after experiencing break-up.
